PREMIER LEAGUE

PREMIER LEAGUE SCHEDULE

The Premier League season usually starts in August and ends in May with each team playing 38 matches. Most of the games are played on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. with the following teams competing: Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton, Burnley, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham, Liverpool, Luton Town, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United, Tottenham, West Ham, and Wolves. What is special about this Premier League is that it will have a mid-season break in February, in addition to the boxing days’ game. Mention, Boxing Day Football is an official public holiday celebrated where gift boxes are given as per the Christmas spirit.

2022-2023 Season

The last Premier League season, have had many ups and downs, where Arsenal was able to stay on top of the table for long periods of the season, yet Manchester City was able to clinch the title in the last rounds, when Arsenal lost the race in the final games, as they started losing points, whereas the Citizens have had an incredible winning streak, to close the gap and ensure their domination over the Premier League 2022-2023 season. And it was a special season for Newcastle as they were able to finish 4th, behind Manchester City, Arsenal, and Manchester United to advance to the Champions League, for the first time since their last Champions League presence in 2002-2003. On the other hand, Liverpool failed to advance to the Champions League for the first time since the 2015-2016 season. Chelsea had a bad season as well alongside Tottenham.
Fans all around the World can’t wait until the 2023-204 season starts, many questions will be answered throughout the long upcoming season, such as will Manchester City be able to extend their dominance. Will Arsenal be able to redo the great run they did the past season? How would Liverpool, Chelsea, and Tottenham respond to the last season's blow? We will all have to wait until the 12th of August to find some answers to those questions.

ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE TEAMS

The top four clubs have been dominating the Premier League throughout the past years: Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United. But lately, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City made a remarkable shift in the Premier League breaching the top four and turning this into the Big Six clubs.

In the season of 2020-2021 during the pandemic of COVID Manchester City was the Winner. 2021-2022 Manchester City was able to keep the title and win their 2nd Premier League in a row, and in the 2022-2023 season, Manchester City extended their titles winning streak, as they won the Premier League trophy for the 3rd season in a row. A few weeks before the start of the 2023-2024 season, the fans are waiting to see which team would be able to steal the title from the Etihad Stadium.
