Multi-talented, Lady Gaga also won a Golden Globe award for her acting stint as the Countess in American Horror Story series.

When she was dropped by Def Jam Records in 2005, Lady Gaga was prompted to work on her own as she performs at different clubs, where she collaborated with different independent artists. It is also when she began to enter the world of fashion, where she experimented her outfits and created a “Lady Gaga” signature style.

In 2007, at a very young age of 20, she began her career at Interscope Records as a songwriter for different artists including Britney Spears, New Kids on the Block and The Pussycat Dolls. And when Lady Gaga was performing in her own burlesque show, called "Lady Gaga and the Starlight Revue, artist Akon was part of the crowd and got dearly impressed by Gaga’s performance that he signed her under Kon Live. Lady Gaga wasted no time, as she devoted her whole talent in writing and recording her debut album, from 2007 - 2008, The Fame. And it all paid off as it is when she started getting recognized by the industry. From then on, she continued making music and collaborating with artists, which includes the jazz duet with Tony Bennett where she won Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. Her performance in 2015, the tribute to the 50th anniversary of The Sound of Music and actress/singer Julie Andrews, was notable as we’ve all seen a different Lady Gaga, as she belted musical selections. She also performed a tribute to her musical hero, David Bowie. She was also seen at 88th Annual Academy Awards, where she performed “Till It Happens To You”. And in 2016, she sang the national anthem at Super Bowl 50.

Lately, Lady Gaga was trending and has become a talk of the town, as people talked about her Super Bowl LI halftime show performance last February 5, where she owned the stadium and sang parts of "God Bless America" and "This Land is Your Land". She also performed an excerpt of the pledge of allegiance, and after-wards she was suspended in the air with magical effects and narration, which surprised and pleased the crowd and viewers.

On February 5, 2017, Lady Gaga headlined the Super Bowl. She started her powerhouse performance on the roof of the NRG Stadium in Houston, singing parts of Her half-time show included a medley of her iconic songs including "Edge of Glory," "Bad Romance," "Poker Face," "Born This Way," "Telephone," "Just Dance," as well as "Million Reasons" from her album Joanne.

Her 2016 album and latest concert tour title, Joanne, is tailored into her own life and family story as Joanne was her aunt who died of lupus complications. “When you listen to the album, it’s clear the influence that all the men in my life have made on this record," "That’s at the center of it, as well: I always wanted to be a good girl. And Joanne was such a good girl. But I have such a rebellious spirit, and my father was always very angry. He drank because of his sister’s death. I was trying to understand him through making this record, and in that, also trying to understand why I love men that are cowboys.”
