Al-Ittihad is an irresistible offer for Mohamed Salah

Al-Itthiad Club (Jeddah) is adamant about its chances of signing Egyptian star Mohamed Salah from Liverpool during the upcoming summer transfer window. Al-Itthiad Club (Jeddah) had previously made several attempts to secure the deal for the Egyptian Pharaoh last summer, but they were unsuccessful.

According to "The Athletic" newspaper, Al-Itthiad Club (Jeddah) has not given up and plans to make a record-breaking offer to convince Liverpool to part ways with Salah. It is reported that Al-Itthiad Club (Jeddah) is preparing a massive offer of 235 million euros to persuade Liverpool to sell Salah.

If the Reds agree, Salah would become the most expensive transfer in the history of football, surpassing the 222 million euros paid by Paris Saint-Germain for Neymar in 2017. Mohamed Salah is under contract with Liverpool until the summer of 2025, and several recent reports suggest that the Reds are trying to secure the Egyptian star with a new contract.

"The Athletic" revealed that Salah's salary with Al-Itthiad Club (Jeddah) would be 85 million euros, four times the salary he currently earns in the English Premier League.

Salah's Stellar Season and Transfer Speculation

Despite the transfer speculation surrounding him, Mohamed Salah has been in scintillating form for Liverpool this season. The 31-year-old, three-time Premier League Golden Boot winner has played 20 games in the league, scoring 14 goals and providing 8 assists, averaging more than one goal contribution per game.

In addition to his league exploits, Salah has also made significant contributions in other competitions. He has played 5 games in the Europa League, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist, and featured in 2 games in the EFL Cup, scoring 1 goal.

It is worth noting that Salah was close to moving to Al-Itthiad Club (Jeddah) during the summer transfer window. However, Liverpool rejected the reported 100 million pound bid at the end of the window due to not having sufficient time to find a suitable replacement for him.

With Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp announcing his departure at the end of the season, speculation has mounted that Salah might also seek a new challenge elsewhere. The potential departure of Salah would mark the end of an era at Liverpool Football Club, adding further intrigue to the ongoing transfer saga.
