Real Madrid 3-0 Real Valladolid: Endrick Shines with First Blancos Goal as Real Madrid Get Their First La Liga Win

Real Madrid won their first La Liga match this season with a 3-0 score against Real Valladolid at the host stadium. Carlo Ancelotti’s men struggled in the first half of the match. Still, they managed to win the game with goals from Federico Valverde, Brahim Diaz, and the much-awaited debut goal from the Brazilian sensation, Endrick in the second half.

The first half of the game was rather tense and Real Madrid had a hard time penetrating Valladolid’s organized defense line. Real Madrid’s fans in the Bernabeu had to endure a lot of pressure until the second half when Federico Valverde scored a free kick which was a bit deflected. The Uruguayan midfielder unleashed a powerful shot that was low and hard and took a kind of lucky bounce off a Valladolid defender to leave goalkeeper Karl Hein beaten.

Soon after, Brahim Diaz got on the score sheet with a delightful finish to make the score 2-0 for Madrid. Diaz, an impact substitute, scored a header from a ball played by Eder Militao, putting it past Hein to extend the score to 2-0 in the last minutes of regular time. That performance was very critical in the final victory of Los Blancos and it provided the fans with another cause to celebrate.

However, the best moment of the match was witnessed in the stoppage time when Real Madrid’s new signing Endrick, the 18-year-old Brazilian scored a beauty of a goal. Endrick, who came to the field as a second-half substitute for Kylian Mbappe, scored the second goal after a great through-ball by Brahim Diaz. The teenager placed the ball with so much ease into the back of the net from the right side of the box to make it 3-0 to the home side.

Nonetheless, Los Blancos had their frustrating moments, especially for Kylian Mbappe, who remains goalless in the La Liga. Mbappe, who was playing as the central striker, was unable to penetrate through the tightly-knit Valladolid defense line. His best opportunity was created by Vinicius Junior who delivered a low cross, but the goalkeeper Hein saved his flicked shot, which was to be the goal that fans had been anticipating seeing from the Frenchman.
