Aston Villa opened their comeback to the UEFA Champions League after the new season by thrashing BSC Young Boys 3-0 in Bern, Switzerland. In the last part of the match, Amadou Onana scored a great goal from a distance and added the last drop of the Champions League performance.
Two goals were denied to each Ollie Watkins and Jhon Duran for handball but Villa saw off the challenge with a three-goal lead to mark their return to the Champions League.
