Buying on 1BoxOffice, Step by Step
1BoxOffice is a secondary marketplace: tickets are listed by sellers, sold by viewing zone and may cost more than face value. At the time of writing, listings for 31 December 2026 start from £65 per ticket in the Red zone and £85 in Blue, before fees. The purchase takes six steps.

Find the event
Open the London New Year's Eve fireworks listing for 31 December 2026 and filter by zone and quantity. Each listing shows the zone, the price per ticket and how many are sold together.

Create or log in to your account
New buyers sign up through 1BoxOffice register; existing customers log in. An account is needed to check out and to receive e-tickets.

Select your zone
Blue faces the London Eye head-on, Green sits directly behind it, White and Pink are the bridge views and Red is the lower-priced end of Victoria Embankment. Visitors cannot move between viewing areas on the night, so a group needs one zone.

Review before checkout
Confirm the zone, the quantity, the delivery method and the total including fees. Read the listing notes, which state any restrictions on the ticket.

Complete payment
Pay by credit or debit card. Under the 1BoxOffice guarantee, if no alternative is offered and the original tickets are not received, the buyer is eligible for a full refund and may also receive a credit voucher worth 50% of the original order value, excluding fees and taxes, capped at £125.

Follow delivery through track order. E-tickets are sent by email, typically in the week of the event. The lead booker should bring photo ID, as they may be asked to show it when tickets are scanned. A passport is accepted.
City Hall's Own Release: No Date Yet
City Hall sells its face-value tickets separately from the resale market. Its event listing for 2026 gives the timings, 8:00pm on Thursday 31 December 2026 to 12:30am on Friday 1 January 2027, and one line on its release: a date "will be announced soon". City Hall's prices, viewing-zone map and ticketing partner for this edition are still to be confirmed.
If you want to try the face-value sale, the first move is the email sign-up on the City Hall event listing. City Hall says registered addresses are notified when the date is announced, which in the last two years gave buyers seven days' notice.
Two Batches, One Midday Start
The Greater London Authority (GLA) has sold the event in two releases through Ticketmaster in each of the last two years: a first batch in October, then a final batch five to six weeks later. All four releases opened at midday UK time.

If City Hall repeats the pattern, the announcement would land around Friday 9 October and the sale on Friday 16 October 2026. That is an inference from two years of precedent, not a confirmed date. The figures above are face value, with Ticketmaster's booking fee charged on top. For the face-value sale, four rules from the GLA's 2025 ticket terms and City Hall's announcements matter. Check the 2026 terms when they are published.
- Account first. Tickets are digital and managed through the buyer's Ticketmaster account, so set one up before sale day.
- Billing postcode. The London discount is verified against the card's billing address, and City Hall warned in 2025 that a mismatch put tickets at risk of cancellation without warning.
- Four per person. For a larger group, another adult can make a separate booking in the same viewing area.
- Midday UK time. For a mid-October release that is 2:00pm in Riyadh and 3:00pm in Dubai; once UK clocks go back on 25 October 2026 it becomes 3:00pm and 4:00pm.

Sold Out Is Not the End of the Road
If City Hall's first batch sells out, you still have several options:
- Resale listings on 1BoxOffice. Sold by zone at seller-set prices, which may be above face value.
- The final batch. Released at midday on a Monday in both 2024 and 2025, and described by City Hall as smaller than the first in 2025.
- Ticketmaster fan-to-fan resale. Opened on Monday 8 December 2025 for the last edition and capped at face value. Supply depends entirely on other buyers returning tickets, and the GLA's terms state that resale is not assured.
- A second-choice zone. Category B areas carried the lower price in 2025, so they are worth considering if your preferred Category A zone is unavailable.
- The BBC broadcast. The 12-minute display is shown live by the BBC, which costs nothing and involves no queue for the Tube home.
What the Organiser's Terms Say About Resale
Resale sites rarely spell this part out. The GLA's 2025 terms prohibited resale outside Ticketmaster's fan-to-fan platform. Under clauses 5.12 and 6.2 to 6.4, tickets obtained in breach could be cancelled and made void, with no refund and entry refused. City Hall's 10 October 2025 announcement said only tickets bought from Ticketmaster would be accepted.
That risk applies to every ticket bought on the secondary market, 1BoxOffice included, and it deserves weighing before you pay above face value. Whichever route you choose, avoid sellers who ask for a bank transfer or send screenshots over social media, and report suspected fraud to your bank straight away.
Once the Tickets Are Yours
The 2025 terms set four conditions that catch people out on the night:
- Tickets are valid only for the zone and gate shown, with no re-admission.
- Entry closes at the admittance time on the ticket; late arrivals are refused without refund.
- Groups on one booking must arrive together with the lead booker.
- Refunds are paid only if the event is cancelled or postponed.
