Two details matter before you compare prices. First, the entry product is a bar, not a meal: The Founders gives you the seat, the room and the music, then you pay for what you eat. Second, 76 Yards is the only lounge away from the West Stand. The North Stand sits behind a goal, so you trade the halfway-line angle for Tommy Banks' food and a long bar.

Every one of the seven lounge listings carried the same line when checked: 2026/27 seasonal spaces are sold out, with a link to register interest for 2027/28. That contradicts Goal's August 2026 guide, which still described seasonal places in 76 Yards and Banks on the Wear as available. Trust the club's wording. Goal's 2025/26 edition had priced those seasonal places from £1,380 and £9,594 respectively, which shows the spread between the two Tommy Banks rooms.
What remains is match by match. Seat Unique reported on 29 July 2026 that the club had released 16 of its 19 home league fixtures for individual booking and had warned that places were extremely limited. On 21 September 2026, Seat Unique itself carried only two products for every Sunderland fixture it listed: The Founders and 76 Yards. Three readings. The Tyne-Wear derby costs 2.6 times the Brighton game for the same two rooms. It is also roughly ten times the £45 top adult face value that Goal reported for general admission in August 2026. No other visitor, Newcastle United aside, was listed above £349. Second, cup nights are the low-cost way in: the EFL Cup tie and all three Europa League home games listed sat below every league fixture.
Third, the banding is not purely about glamour. Tottenham Hotspur were priced level with Hull City at £185, while Coventry City matched Sunderland vs Chelsea at £225. Dates, kick-off slots and remaining stock move the number as much as the badge does. All dates are subject to television selection. The Championship price list, two seasons on
The last time Sunderland published a full match-by-match price list was July 2024, before a Championship season. The club's on-sale notice, reposted on the Ready To Go supporters' forum, gives a baseline that no current guide quotes.

All July 2024 prices included VAT. The Montgomery Suite's move from £125 to a £155 starting price is a 24% rise across promotion. The lounge listings read like the newer policy, written for a younger top-flight crowd. The central page reads like the old one. Until the club reconciles them, dress to the stricter version for the Riverview Brasserie and confirm with the premium team before wearing a shirt into the Montgomery Suite or the Business Lounge.
Three rules are consistent everywhere. Tracksuits are out in every room. Under 16s are exempt from the dress code. Away colours are a different matter entirely: the Seat Unique listings state that all places are in home areas and that guests wearing away colours or openly supporting the opposition can be refused entry or ejected without compensation.
No purchase history, no ballot
Sunderland runs no paid membership, which makes ordinary league games easier than at most top-flight clubs. The difficulty arrives with the fixtures everyone wants.
