Why Selhurst Park Never Reaches General SaleFour Routes That Actually WorkWhat Hospitality Costs at Selhurst ParkBuying on 1BoxOffice Step by StepThe 2026/27 Fixtures That Will Go FirstFAQs

Selhurst Park holds just 25,486 people, around 18,000 of those seats belong to season ticket holders and roughly 98% of them renewed for the new campaign. Add an FA Cup win in 2025, a Conference League trophy in 2026 and Europa League football this season, and it is easy to see why finding Crystal Palace tickets without membership feels close to impossible on paper. It is not, but you need to know which doors are actually open.

The club's own rule is blunt: every buyer needs a Season Ticket, Season Ticket+ or Membership even to see single-match prices, and league fixtures almost never reach open general sale. That is why most non-members end up comparing Crystal Palace tickets on the secondary market, where listings for sold-out fixtures remain available right up to kick-off.

Why Selhurst Park Never Reaches General Sale

A back-view shot of three Crystal Palace fans wearing red and blue striped jerseys numbered 7 and 10 walking on a sunny matchday toward Selhurst Park Stadium. A large blue banner hanging along the street reads "SOUTH LONDON & PROUD," while a massive graphic of an eagle's head covers the stadium stand's glass facade ahead.

Palace run a priority ladder for every home league game. Gold Members (£60 a year as of July 2026) get a 72-hour head start, Members (£25) buy in the next window and whatever remains is usually gone before the public sees a single seat. The club introduced a season ticket waiting list for the first time in 2024, which tells you everything about where demand sits.

Two things have made 2026/27 even tighter. Pierre Sage's side are playing Europa League football at Selhurst Park, and the fixture computer handed them Manchester City in the opening home game on Friday 28 August, followed by Arsenal on Boxing Day. Neutral interest in south London has never been higher.

Four Routes That Actually Work

Non-members are not locked out entirely. Four options exist, each with a different balance of cost, certainty and planning time:

  • International Membership (£35): the club's own answer for overseas fans, letting you reserve a seat for one home league match ahead of wider sale. Good value, but it is still a membership and covers a single game.
  • Matchday hospitality: premium packages at Selhurst Park are sold to anyone, no membership required, and include a guaranteed seat with dining.
  • Cup and European nights: lower-profile Conference League ties in 2025/26, such as the AEK Larnaca fixture, went on wider sale, and similar Europa League group games this season are the most realistic route to a face-value seat.
  • Secondary marketplaces: the only route that works for sold-out league fixtures at short notice, provided you buy from a platform that verifies its sellers and backs every order.

What Hospitality Costs at Selhurst Park

A side view from within a packed stand at Selhurst Park Stadium, showing fans cheering enthusiastically with their hands in the air. Supporters in red and blue team shirts and scarves wave Crystal Palace flags featuring the club eagle crest while looking down toward the green pitch during a home match.

As of July 2026, Speroni's Restaurant starts from around £325 per person with a three-course meal and a Directors' Box seat, while the Legends Restaurant starts from around £225 with balcony dining. The 2010 Club, the premium option near the dugout, starts from around £350. Ten-seat executive boxes in the Whitehorse Lane end start at roughly £3,250 per match.

Those prices are steep next to a standard seat, but for a landmark fixture they compare reasonably with resale prices for top-category seats, and you can read up on every stand before choosing on our Selhurst Park guide.

The 2026/27 Fixtures That Will Go First

A group of male football supporters sitting together inside a cozy pub before a match, drinking pints of beer and laughing. They wear red and blue Crystal Palace jerseys and matching team scarves draped over their shoulders, with a television mounted on the wall in the background broadcasting a live football match.

Some Selhurst Park dates will disappear within the member windows and never come close to wider sale. The Manchester City opener, Arsenal on Boxing Day, the M23 derby against Brighton and the visit of Manchester United are the four to plan around. If one of those is your target, sorting a seat months out costs less than chasing one in matchweek.

FAQs

1. Can away fans or neutrals sit in the home ends at Selhurst Park?

  • Neutrals attend home areas regularly, but anyone visibly supporting the away side in a home stand risks being moved or ejected, so keep colours and celebrations neutral.

2. Are Crystal Palace tickets paper or digital?

  • Selhurst Park is a digital-first ground, with club-issued tickets delivered as NFC passes for Apple or Google Wallet rather than paper stubs.

3. How long is the Crystal Palace season ticket waiting list?

  • Most estimates put the wait at one to two years, and it may lengthen until the expanded Main Stand raises capacity beyond 34,000.

4. What is Season Ticket+ and why does it matter to non-members?

  • Season Ticket+ is a £50 upgrade that lets a season ticket holder transfer their seat to any supporter, so knowing one is the simplest personal route into a league game.

5. Do children get discounted tickets at Selhurst Park?

  • Yes, juniors under 18 typically pay around half the adult price on club-sold tickets, though every attendee still needs their own ticket.

Palace have gone from relegation battlers to trophy winners, and Selhurst Park pricing and availability now reflect that. When the member windows close before you get near a seat, 1BoxOffice lists verified sellers for every Crystal Palace fixture, with a 150% money-back guarantee behind each order.
