Eight ways to buy a single seatBoxes and the TV Studio: the per-head sumsWhat the bar tab covers, room by roomThe Block R questionThe website says £110, the brochure says £132Booking: one phone number and three unanswered questionsFAQs£888 buys a private box for eight at Portman Road this season. £14,400 buys a different one for 14. Both figures come from the 2026/27 brochure behind Ipswich Town hospitality packages, which prices every option across four fixture bands: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Most of the "from" prices still shown on the club's website do not appear in it.
Article Summary: Hospitality at Portman Road in 2026/27 runs from £132 per person in Burley's Bar to £16,800 for the 20-guest TV Studio, according to the brochure Ipswich Town produced in July 2026. Ipswich Town sets a price for each fixture band but has not published which fixture sits in which band, so each quote needs confirming with the club.
- Burley's Bar costs £132 to £180 per person in Ipswich Town's 2026/27 hospitality brochure, dated July 2026, with drinks and pies bought separately.
- The Three Lions Lounge costs £216 to £252 per person in the July 2026 brochure and includes a street food buffet, a complimentary bar and a seat in Block R of the West Stand.
- A West Stand Box at Portman Road holds 14 guests and costs £5,400 at Bronze and £14,400 at Platinum in Ipswich Town's July 2026 brochure.
- Restricted View Cobbold Boxes cost £888 to £1,020 for eight guests in the July 2026 brochure, which works out at £111 to £128 per head.
- Seasonal hospitality at Portman Road was marked sold out on Ipswich Town's website on 5 October 2026.
Ipswich came straight back up as Championship runners-up, sealing promotion with a 3-0 win over Queens Park Rangers on 2 May 2026. The brochure followed in July with a welcome from chairman Mark Ashton, who wrote that the club had "invested significantly in our hospitality offering over the past couple of years". That investment shows in the West Stand, where the Three Lions Lounge opened in February 2025 and the club describes the S&P Lounge as one of its newest. The next test of the price list is Ipswich Town vs Nottingham Forest on Friday 23 October.
Eight ways to buy a single seat

Eight of the brochure's 12 priced packages are sold per person, and the lowest Bronze price is less than a third of the highest Platinum one. The table sets out every band exactly as Ipswich Town's 2026/27 brochure prints it.
| Package | Match seat | Food and drink | Platinum | Gold | Silver | Bronze |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Burley's Bar | Padded, halfway line, Cobbold Stand (partially sheltered) | Pay bar, pies on sale | £180 | £150 | £144 | £132 |
| Three Lions Lounge | Block R, West Stand | Street food buffet, complimentary bar | £252 | £228 | £222 | £216 |
| Hall of Fame | Padded, halfway line, Cobbold Stand (partially sheltered) | Small plates and petit fours, complimentary bar before kick-off | £300 | £294 | £288 | £282 |
| Sir Bobby Robson Suite | Padded, South Stand, outside the suite | Three courses, half-time pies, complimentary bar | £384 | £372 | £360 | £348 |
| S&P Lounge | Padded, lounge balcony, West Stand | Plated dishes at the table, complimentary bar | £408 | £384 | £360 | £354 |
| Level Head Lounge | Padded, lounge balcony, West Stand | Small plates, complimentary bar | £440 | £432 | £390 | £378 |
| Directors Box | Directors Box, West Stand | Street food in the Three Lions Lounge, complimentary bar | £480 | £450 | £408 | £384 |
| Premier Lounge | Directors Box, West Stand | Three courses, complimentary bar | £480 | £450 | £408 | £384 |
Prices are per person, as printed in Ipswich Town's 2026/27 hospitality brochure of July 2026, which carries the note "prices subject to change".
Two patterns matter more than any single figure. First, the lounges barely move between bands: the Hall of Fame rises 6% from Bronze to Platinum and the Three Lions Lounge 17%, while Burley's Bar jumps 36%. In the Hall of Fame, the opponent changes the bill by £18. Second, the Directors Box and Premier Lounge share a price and a seat but not a meal. One serves street food in the Three Lions Lounge, the other a three-course lunch at a reserved table, so the same £384 buys two very different afternoons.
Set against the rest of the Premier League, the entry point is low but no longer an outlier. Manchester City lists its Citizens suite at £290 per person for Ipswich's visit on 17 October 2026, as recorded in our Manchester City hospitality guide on 9 September 2026. That sits level with the Hall of Fame at Portman Road, where £282 to £300 puts you on the halfway line.
Boxes and the TV Studio: the per-head sums

The remaining options are sold by the room or box, and dividing by the guest count changes which one looks expensive. A full Restricted View Cobbold Box at Bronze works out at £111 a head, £21 less than a single Bronze seat in Burley's Bar.
| Space | Guests | Platinum | Gold | Silver | Bronze | Per head, Bronze to Platinum |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| TV Studio | 20 | £16,800 | £14,400 | £7,200 | £5,400 | £270 to £840 |
| West Stand Box | 14 | £14,400 | £9,600 | £7,200 | £5,400 | £386 to £1,029 |
| Cobbold Box, central | 8 | £3,330 | £2,640 | £2,400 | £2,034 | £254 to £416 |
| Cobbold Box, non-central | 8 | £2,640 | £2,400 | £1,920 | £1,500 | £188 to £330 |
| Restricted View Cobbold Box | 8 | £1,020 | £960 | £930 | £888 | £111 to £128 |
Whole-space prices from Ipswich Town's 2026/27 hospitality brochure, July 2026. Per-head figures are our own division, rounded to the nearest pound. They assume every seat is filled.
The catch with the restricted boxes is in the name and the small print. The brochure places them behind the away supporters and warns that views may be restricted. What you get for the money is a private room, a pre-match buffet delivered to the box, half-time cakes and access to Burley's Bar, which is more than Burley's Bar gives a group of eight at a higher price per head.
Bands bite hardest at the top. A West Stand Box costs 167% more at Platinum than at Bronze, and the TV Studio price more than triples. The studio is the oddity of the list: a 20-guest room where the match is watched from inside. The experience starts with a behind-the-scenes tour led by a former player. For a company choosing between one Platinum fixture and two or three Bronze ones, the brochure makes the trade obvious.
What the bar tab covers, room by room

Seven of the eight per-person packages include a complimentary bar of house wines, beers and soft drinks. Burley's Bar is the exception: the brochure describes access "to purchase drinks and a selection of pies", so the £132 to £180 covers the padded halfway-line seat and the room, not the round.
The other limits are easy to miss:
- The Hall of Fame bar is complimentary before kick-off only, according to the brochure.
- Cobbold Boxes include teas, coffee and water, with alcohol bought in Burley's Bar before the match, at half-time and afterwards.
- House spirits appear in the website description of the S&P Lounge and West Stand Box but not in the brochure, which lists wines, beers and soft drinks.
- The Sir Bobby Robson Suite is listed with a complimentary bar in the brochure and with "three complimentary drinks" on the club's website, read on 5 October 2026.
On the Sir Bobby Robson Suite, three drinks against an open bar is a meaningful difference in value, so confirm which drinks package applies before booking.

The Block R question

The Three Lions Lounge is the package supporters argue about, and the argument is about the seat, not the room. Ipswich Town's brochure describes it as "general admission seating in Block R", the only per-person package the brochure lists that way.
On the TWTD supporters' forum, one poster on 11 August 2026 called them "restricted view seats" at "£220+ per ticket". Others in an earlier thread rated the lounge as the stronger deal for its buffet and bar. Those are fan opinions, not club statements. The club does not label Block R as restricted. If the view is the point of the day, the Hall of Fame costs £66 more at Bronze and moves you to the halfway line of the Cobbold Stand, though that seat is only partially sheltered. The Portman Road seating plan shows where Block R and the Cobbold Stand sit against the pitch.
The website says £110, the brochure says £132

The club's own sources do not agree on price. Ipswich Town's website still headlines Burley's Bar "from £110", the Three Lions Lounge at "£142+", the Hall of Fame "from £180" and the Level Head Lounge at "£270+", as read on 5 October 2026. None of those figures appears anywhere in the 2026/27 brochure.
Part of the gap looks like VAT. The Burley's Bar listing, last edited in October 2025, shows Grade B at £110 and Grade A at £120. Add 20% and you land exactly on the brochure's Bronze £132 and Silver £144. The website's West Stand Box "from £8,000" plus 20% is the Gold £9,600. Neither source states its VAT basis, so treat this as our reading of the arithmetic, not a club statement. Ask the hospitality team to confirm before you budget.
The rest is age. The Three Lions Lounge and Hall of Fame figures do not match the brochure with or without VAT, and a TWTD poster reported paying £126 for the Three Lions Lounge in November 2025, during the Championship season. The same listings carried a line saying matchday hospitality was "not yet on sale for the 2026/27 season" on 5 October 2026, two months after supporters began quoting live prices. Ipswich are not alone among the promoted clubs in leaving gaps: Coventry City's hospitality rooms had no public single-match price list when we checked on 30 September 2026.
The bigger gap is the band calendar. Ipswich Town has not published which opponents are Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze. The only public clue is a TWTD post on 11 August 2026 putting a box for the Liverpool match at £14,400, which matches the Platinum West Stand Box rate.
Booking: one phone number and three unanswered questions

Hospitality at Portman Road is booked through the club's hospitality team on 01473 400594 or hospitality@itfc.co.uk, the contact details printed in the brochure and on the Ipswich Town matchday hospitality listings. It sits outside the members' ballot that controls standard league seats, a system covered in our guide to buying Ipswich Town tickets without a membership.
Three things were not published anywhere we could find on 5 October 2026, and each is worth one line in your enquiry email:
- Which band your chosen fixture falls in, since that alone can move a West Stand Box by £9,000.
- Whether the quoted price includes VAT.
- The dress code for your room. Neither the brochure nor the package listings state one.
Check availability before price. Seasonal places were marked sold out on the club's website on 5 October 2026, and the matchday listings direct new enquiries through the club's hospitality enquiry form. Ipswich Town vs Chelsea falls on Wednesday 30 December, in the middle of the Christmas run of fixtures.
