For Napoli vs Frosinone on 10 October 2026, the club's general sale is scheduled for 15:00 on Friday 2 October, eight days before kick-off, and it asks for no card of any kind. For Arsenal on 9 September the same window opened five days out, and residents of Great Britain were barred from the home sectors altogether.
Article Summary: Supporters without a Fan Stadium Card or Membership Premium can buy Napoli match tickets in the club's general sale (vendita libera) on TicketOne, which has been scheduled five to eight days before each home game announced so far in 2026/27. Tickets are issued in the attendee's name, can be loaded to a phone wallet and cannot be transferred to another person. The authorities can restrict sales by place of residence.

- The SSC Napoli sale notices for Arsenal, Bologna, Frosinone and Bodo/Glimt in 2026/27 all state that a change of ticket holder is not allowed in any case.
- For Napoli vs Arsenal on 9 September 2026, the TicketOne listing barred residents of Great Britain from buying seats in the home sectors.
Napoli are in Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League league phase this season under Massimiliano Allegri, which puts four European nights on top of 19 league dates in Fuorigrotta. Fixture-by-fixture availability and current prices sit on the Napoli tickets listing. What follows is how the club's own sale works, where a supporter without a card fits into it and what can still go wrong at the turnstile.
Three Queues Before Yours

Napoli sells every home match in phases, and the public phase comes last. For Serie A games there are three: a presale for Fan Stadium Card holders, a short priority window for Membership Premium holders, then the general sale. Champions League sale structures vary. Against Arsenal, the Italia season ticket holders' right of first refusal and the card presale ran together inside phase one; against Bodo/Glimt, Italia holders had a separate opening phase, which made four. The 20-match Italia product covers 19 league games and one Coppa Italia tie, so its holders buy European nights separately.
"Membership" at Napoli therefore means two separate things. The Fan Stadium Card is the fidelity card, a one-off purchase open to anyone who clears a police check. Membership Premium is a paid loyalty programme, and right now it cannot be joined for ticket priority: the club's September notices say only members who signed up by 31 May 2026 can use the window, and that the programme will return later in the season.
| 2026/27 home match | Card presale opens | Membership Premium window | General sale opens | Kick-off |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Arsenal (Champions League) | 1 Sep, 12:00 | 3 Sep, 15:00 | 4 Sep, 15:00 | 9 Sep, 21:00 |
| Bologna (Serie A) | 2 Sep, 12:00 | 7 Sep, 12:00 | 8 Sep, 15:00 | 13 Sep, 18:00 |
| Frosinone (Serie A) | 24 Sep, 12:00 | 1 Oct, 12:00 | 2 Oct, 15:00 | 10 Oct, 20:45 |
| Bodo/Glimt (Champions League) | 2 Oct, 12:00 | 9 Oct, 15:00 | 12 Oct, 12:00 | 20 Oct, 21:00 |
Two patterns come out of those four notices. The first tickets have gone on sale between eight and 21 days before kick-off, and the public window has opened five to eight days out. That is a shorter wait than the 22-day head start Juventus gave its members against Milan, but it is still too late for anyone booking flights a month ahead. For Napoli vs Bodo/Glimt, season ticket holders could confirm their own seats from 29 September, 13 days before the public.
The general sale is also conditional. Each notice opens that phase only "if tickets remain" and "unless the competent authorities prescribe otherwise". In the public phase a buyer can take up to four tickets, either online in Passbook mode, which loads the ticket to a phone wallet, or as a printed ticket from an authorised TicketOne sales point. The club's wording is explicit: no Fidelity Card is needed for either.
What €20 and a Passport Photo Buy You

The SSC Napoli Fan Stadium Card costs €20 (£17 at the 30 September 2026 rate), plus a €1.50 (£1.28) online transaction fee and a variable shipping charge, and lasts three years. The club says the online process was designed for supporters across Italy and abroad, with the card posted to the applicant's address within 15 days. The Questura, the local police headquarters, checks each application electronically in real time, and anyone under a stadium ban is refused.
The application runs through TicketOne and needs four things:
- A TicketOne account with a username and password
- A passport-style photo as a JPEG, 240 by 320 pixels and no larger than 50 KB
- The type, number, issuer, issue date and expiry date of a valid identity document
- A credit card for the payment
The card buys three things: the presale, a lower price and the only route to a season ticket. It does not buy a group booking. Presale tickets must go to other card holders, because each one is loaded digitally onto the attendee's own card, so one card in a party of four gets one person in early. On the four notices so far, the presale discount has ranged from €5 to €50 per seat.
For a single trip to Naples the arithmetic rarely works. The card takes up to 15 days to arrive, the saving on one mid-priced seat is around €10, and a general sale has been scheduled for all four home games announced since the start of September. The card earns its fee for a supporter planning several visits, or targeting a match where the public window is in doubt.
From Curva to Posillipo Premium: The 2026/27 Price Board

Napoli prices each match individually across eight sectors, and prices vary substantially by opponent as well as competition. The figures below are the general-sale prices from the club's own notices, as of September 2026. A lower-tier Curva seat cost €20 (£17) against Frosinone and €45 (£38) against Arsenal; the dearest seat in the ground went from €110 (£94) to €275 (£235).
| Sector | Frosinone (10 Oct) | Bologna (13 Sep) | Bodo/Glimt (20 Oct) | Arsenal (9 Sep) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Curve Inferiori | €20 | €30 | €35 | €45 |
| Curve Superiori | €35 | €45 | €45 | €70 |
| Distinti Inferiori | €50 | €60 | €65 | €90 |
| Distinti Superiori | €55 | €75 | €80 | €135 |
| Distinti Superiori Premium | €60 | €85 | €95 | €150 |
| Tribuna Nisida | €75 | €100 | €105 | €175 |
| Tribuna Posillipo | €95 | €115 | €125 | €200 |
| Tribuna Posillipo Premium | €110 | €135 | €145 | €275 |
The two curva sections sit behind the goals and hold the organised support, the Distinti run along one touchline and the Posillipo and Nisida stands face each other across the halfway line. The Stadio Diego Armando Maradona seating plan shows how the tiers and blocks divide. Napoli has not published 2026/27 prices for Roma, Milan, Inter or Juventus as of 30 September 2026, so the Arsenal column is the closest guide to a top-tier night.
Families have a separate product. Tribuna Family, in the lower tier beneath Tribuna Nisida, costs €14 (£12) per adult and €10 (£9) for a child up to 12, as of September 2026. It goes on sale with the general phase, so no card is required, but only at authorised sales points and only with documents proving the family link, and each purchase must include at least one adult and one child. For Bodo/Glimt the club also listed an Under 14 rate in every sector, from €14 to €70.

The Name on the Ticket Stays on the Ticket

Every Napoli ticket is issued to a named person and checked against an identity document at the Maradona. Bring the original passport or national ID card that matches the booking. A card holder needs three items instead of two: the Fan Stadium Card, the seat slip emailed by TicketOne and the ID. The club notes that the seat slip alone is not valid for entry.
The rule that catches visitors is this one: "In no case will a change of user be permitted." It appears in all four notices above and covers single-match tickets in every phase. A supporter who buys four seats in the general sale must name four attendees at checkout and cannot swap one later.
Season tickets are the only product that moves. A Full holder can pass a seat on for up to 10 matches and an Italia holder for five, in each case to another Fan Stadium Card holder and at least 24 hours before kick-off, according to the club's 2026/27 campaign terms. That is the mechanism behind most Napoli seats that change hands, and it explains why a seat for a big match can exist on paper and still be out of reach for someone without the card.
When the Prefect Redraws the Map

Italian public-order authorities can restrict who buys a football ticket by where the buyer lives, and Napoli's notices warn of it every time: "pending the decisions of the competent authorities, ticket sales may be subject to territorial limitations." The decision usually arrives after the sale has been announced and sometimes after it has started.
For Arsenal on 9 September 2026, TicketOne's event listing stated that residents of Great Britain could not buy seats in the ordinary sectors, leaving Arsenal's own away allocation as the club route for UK-based fans. A year earlier, for Sporting CP, residents of Portugal were barred unless they held a Napoli card issued before 4 September 2025, as GOAL reported from the club's notice. The test in both cases was residence, not nationality or the name on a passport.
The same tool is used in Serie A, where bans by Italian region have been applied to Napoli's meetings with Roma in past seasons. No restriction for Roma on 24 October had been published when this guide was written on 30 September 2026, and no sale notice for that match had appeared on the club's site. Anyone travelling from Lazio, or from the UK for a Champions League tie against an English club, should wait for the notice before paying for flights.
Roma in October, Milan in December

The general sale is a reasonable bet for most of the calendar and a poor one for a handful of dates. Lega Serie A has fixed kick-off times up to the winter break, and the home games most likely to be decided before the public phase are these:
- Napoli vs Roma: Saturday 24 October 2026, 18:00
- Napoli vs Lazio: Sunday 8 November 2026, 12:30
- Napoli vs Club Brugge (Champions League): Tuesday 8 December 2026, 21:00
- Napoli vs AC Milan: Sunday 13 December 2026, 20:45
- Napoli vs Inter Milan: weekend of 31 January 2027, slot to be confirmed
Against Roma, Milan, Inter and Juventus there is an extra queue. Full season ticket holders have first call on one additional seat for another card holder at those four league games, under the 2026/27 campaign terms, which can thin the stock before the card presale begins. In October 2023 the Real Madrid tie never reached its final phase at all: SSC Napoli announced a sell-out before the last window could open.
The opposite happens too. On the eve of the Arsenal match about 42,000 tickets had been sold in a stadium that holds just under 55,000, according to Il Napolista, and the match had not sold out. Demand for Champions League nights in Naples depends heavily on the opponent and on price, so a high-profile name is not proof that the public window will close.
Line 2 to Campi Flegrei

The stadium is in Fuorigrotta, west of the centre, and the club lists rail as the main way in. Metro Line 2, run by Trenitalia, goes from Piazza Garibaldi to Campi Flegrei, and the Cumana railway stops at Mostra; both stations are a short walk from the turnstiles. The 151 bus runs from the central station to Piazzale Tecchio.
From Capodichino airport the club's advice is the Alibus to Piazza Garibaldi, then Line 2. The Alibus fare is €5 (£4.27) as of September 2026, according to Trenitalia's Napoli airport link information for the ANM service; the club's travel information still shows an older €4 figure. After evening games Trenitalia may run extra Line 2 trains beyond the normal finish at about 22:00, but the club tells supporters to check that the service has been activated before relying on it. Drivers can use the Park&Gol scheme at Bagnoli, which bundles guarded parking and a return shuttle for up to five people for €3 (£2.56).
Three Other Doors, and What Each Costs

A supporter who misses the general sale, or cannot wait for one, has two authorised routes and one independent route.
Hospitality. Lounge seats are sold outside the phase system and need no card. P1 Travel, which Napoli renewed as a partner in August 2024, lists standard seats, a Napoli Experience package with a pre-match dinner in the city and two lounge products, Nisida and Posillipo, on the main stands. Prices change by opponent, so check the rate on the day of booking.
The card, ordered early. For a trip fixed weeks ahead around Roma, Milan or Inter, the Fan Stadium Card is the lowest-cost way into the presale. Order it at least a month before the match to allow for the 15-day delivery and any delay in the post, and remember that every person in the group needs one.
The secondary market. Be clear-eyed about this one. Italy's 2017 Budget Law (Law 232/2016) prohibits the sale or placement of tickets by anyone other than authorised ticket-issuing system holders, except for occasional private sales at or below face value with no commercial purpose. Penalties run from €5,000 to €180,000 and are enforced by the communications regulator AGCOM. Napoli's notices tell supporters not to buy through channels other than those the club names and say it accepts no liability for purchases made elsewhere. With no name changes on match tickets, a buyer on any independent marketplace, 1BoxOffice included, carries an entry risk, which is why the name on the ticket and the refund terms deserve more attention than the price.
Buying on 1BoxOffice Without a Fan Stadium Card

The club's general sale is always the first stop. When a match never reaches it, a residence rule closes it or the decision to travel comes after it has sold through, an independent marketplace is another route, with the entry risk set out above. 1BoxOffice has traded since 2006 and backs orders with its 150% guarantee: under its terms, if the tickets are not received and no alternative is offered, the buyer is eligible for a full refund and may also receive a credit voucher worth 50% of the original order value, excluding fees and taxes, capped at £125. Six steps, no TicketOne account and no Italian address.
