Nottingham Forest froze every seasonal hospitality price for 2026/27, so a new seasonal hospitality customer pays £3,000 plus VAT for a Trentside Lounge season place, which works out at roughly £189 a match including VAT across 19 Premier League home games. Nottingham Forest hospitality now covers 12 lounges, suites and box products at the City Ground, from a buffet-and-pay-bar lounge in the Trent End to fine dining in the Boardroom, and since February 2024 none of them has required a membership or a ticketing history to book.

Forest's hospitality estate was rebuilt for 2024/25, when the club opened two new lounges (McGovern's and the Garibaldi) and refurbished and renamed two more (Trentside and Founders 1865), giving the four spaces a combined 1,000 covers, according to Insider Media's report on the multimillion-pound refit. Two years on, demand at the City Ground has outgrown a 30,000-seat stadium, the general admission season card waiting list runs into five figures and hospitality has become one of the more dependable club-direct routes into a Premier League matchday for anyone without a season card. Every Lounge at the City Ground and What Comes With the Seat

Twelve products make up the range. The table below is drawn from the club's 2026/27 seasonal hospitality listing, its renewals notes and the package descriptions published by its resellers as of September 2026. Where the club prints a price, the table says so; where only a reseller or a 2025/26 guide does, it says that instead. Every club-direct price is quoted excluding VAT, so add 20% to compare with a standard ticket.

One older name has gone. The Legends Lounge became Trentside in 2024 and Goal's 2025/26 guide still uses the old label in places, which is one reason the same package can appear at two different prices online. What a Single Match Costs and Why the Club Keeps the Number Off the Website

Forest does not publish a per-match hospitality price grid. Single-match packages are loaded into the club's booking system fixture by fixture, and the price only appears once you select a game. The figures below are the club-direct and third-party prices that have been printed in public, each with its date.

• Trentside Lounge, FA Cup fifth round v Ipswich Town, March 2025: £120 plus VAT (£144) for an adult without a membership and £110 plus VAT (£132) for MyForest members, with under-14s at £95 plus VAT (£114) and £75 plus VAT (£90) respectively, according to the club's announcement of 28 February 2025.
• Trentside Lounge, Category B Premier League fixture v Wolves, August 2024: £282 per person paid, according to a TripAdvisor review posted in September 2024 that also complained the price did not include drinks.
• Premier League "from" prices in Goal's 2025/26 guide, published in the summer of 2025: Trentside from £200, Robin Hood Suite from £330, City Ground Suites from £380, Executive Boxes from £600 per person, Directors' Club and Boardroom from £635 to £680.
• The Vault Experience: from £150 plus VAT per person on the club's own hospitality listing as of September 2026, which makes it the lowest published club-direct entry point for a league match.

The spread between a cup tie at £144 including VAT and a Category B league game at £282 tells its own story: Forest prices hospitality by opponent, and the gap between a Burnley and a Manchester United fixture is wide. The club prices ordinary match tickets in three categories and hospitality follows the same tiers. Circuit Hospitality's 2025/26 shared-box listings, the only like-for-like public comparison available, showed £379 for Newcastle against £315 for Bournemouth, a difference of about 20%, and the club-direct gap is likely to be larger at the top of the range.

Availability matters as much as price. As of late September 2026 Seat Unique listed the Trentside Lounge for Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal on Sunday 18 October as sold out after showing six places left earlier in the month, with only two City Ground Suites places remaining, and Sportsbreaks had sold out Trentside for the Coventry City game on 19 September. Hospitality for Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United on Saturday 20 February 2027 was already showing out of stock in some suites at VIP Matchdays in August. If a specific big game is the target, including Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool on Saturday 17 April 2027, the practical rule is to book club hospitality within days of the fixture going on sale or expect to pay a scarcity premium elsewhere. Seasonal Hospitality: the Price Freeze and the Per-Match Maths

The one part of Forest's hospitality pricing that is fully public is the seasonal list. On 11 March 2026 the club confirmed that season card prices "will not be increased within all general admission and hospitality areas", and the 2026/27 seasonal hospitality listing carries the frozen figures. Renewals for existing guests closed at 5pm on Friday 24 April 2026; new applications remain open, although the club states that applying does not guarantee a place or a specific lounge.

Prices are from the club's 2026/27 seasonal hospitality listing, published in spring 2026 and unchanged as of 29 September 2026. Which Lounges Include Drinks and Which Run a Pay Bar

A recurring complaint about hospitality at the City Ground is not the food or the seat but the bar. Trentside, the lounge most first-time buyers end up in, includes one welcome drink and then operates a pay bar with pre-ordering for half-time. The TripAdvisor reviewer who paid £282 a head in August 2024 called the price "extortionate" on exactly that basis, and the same point recurs in fan discussion whenever Trentside is recommended as an entry-level package.

Everything above Trentside includes drinks. The Garibaldi Lounge and McGovern's Lounge both run inclusive packages. The City Ground Suites offer a complimentary bar of beer, wine and soft drinks alongside a champagne reception, while Founders 1865 includes house wine, house spirits, beer and soft drinks. The Vault, Museum Hospitality, Directors' Club, Directors' Gallery and Boardroom are all inclusive. The Executive Boxes gained a drinks package for 2026/27 according to the club's renewals notes. For a group that will drink through a three-hour pre-match window, the difference between Trentside and McGovern's is smaller than the headline price suggests once a round of drinks at stadium prices is added on.

Two legal points apply in every lounge. Alcohol cannot be consumed in view of the pitch during the match, a requirement under the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985 that Seat Unique repeats on every Forest listing, so drinks stay inside the lounge or suite. And because all Forest hospitality sits in home areas, the club and its resellers state that anyone openly supporting the visitors or wearing away colours can be refused entry or removed without compensation.

Trentside, McGovern's or a Box: Matching the Package to the Occasion

The right lounge depends on who is going and why. Reviews from The Padded Seat, which rated the City Ground Suites in November 2024 and the Vault Experience in March 2025, scored the food four out of five in both but gave the Suites only three out of five for value, which is a fair summary of the whole range: the food is consistently good, the value depends on how much of the package you will actually use.

• First visit or a couple: the Vault Experience, from £150 plus VAT as of September 2026, gives a pitchside and dugout visit and a look at the European Cups for less than most Trentside league prices, but only 50 places exist per match.
• Family with children: Trentside, which is the only lounge with a published under-14 price (£1,575 plus VAT seasonal), a relaxed buffet and 550-plus capacity; the pay bar is an advantage rather than a cost with children in the party.
• Group of friends who want the atmosphere: the Garibaldi Lounge, a sports-bar style room with more than 10 screens, inclusive drinks and a halfway-line seat behind the Directors' Box.
• Client entertaining: McGovern's Lounge at 44 covers or a shared City Ground Suite of up to 34, both inclusive, with the Suites adding a private entrance and balcony seats; a 10-seat Executive Box at £40,000 plus VAT for the season works out at about £253 a seat per game including VAT.
• A once-in-a-lifetime treat: Founders 1865 or the Directors' Club, where the seat is beside or inside the Directors' Box and the post-match player interview is part of the package.

The Small Print: Dress Code, Children, Away Colours and Wheelchair Spaces

Dress code is smart casual across the lounges. Tailored shorts are accepted; open-toe footwear and flip-flops are not. Forest colours are welcome while away colours are not, according to the standards published by the club and repeated by Seat Unique and Gala Hospitality. Guests need the hospitality ticket itself to enter the lounge; Seat Unique issues e-tickets around four days before the match. The stadium bag policy applies and there is no large-bag storage.

Children are welcome, with under-14 pricing in Trentside and reseller guidance that under-14s must be accompanied by an adult and that very young children are best placed in an Executive Box. On accessibility, the club's accessibility guide states that the City Ground holds up to 75 wheelchair positions with a companion seat behind each. The Trentside mezzanine has 13 wheelchair spaces in total, 12 generally taken by season card holders and one unreserved for a match-ticket buyer, and Entrance A is the accessible way in. A dedicated Executive Box in the upper Brian Clough Stand takes five wheelchair users and five personal assistants, with lift access. Accessible hospitality is booked on 0115 982 4388, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and given a single unreserved Trentside space it should be booked the day a fixture goes on sale.

How the 45,000-Seat Redevelopment Affects the Lounges

Rushcliffe Borough Council's planning committee voted 10 to 1 on Wednesday 16 September 2026 and resolved to approve the detailed Peter Taylor Stand and Trent End plans, subject to conditions and completion of the Section 106 agreement, according to West Bridgford Wire, taking the City Ground to around 45,000. Football-Stadiums.co.uk puts the full programme at £790 million and a potential 52,500 final capacity by 2033/34, with phase one targeted for the 2030/31 season. The council has also required river-crossing and transport arrangements to be in place before the extra capacity can be used.

For hospitality buyers the relevant fact is which lounges sit in the stand that will be demolished. The Directors' Box, the Directors' Club, the Directors' Gallery, the Boardroom, the Robin Hood Suite and the Garibaldi Lounge seats are all in or behind the Peter Taylor Stand, and the planning documents describe demolition of the existing stand and its adjacent hospitality areas. The replacement stand includes new mid-level hospitality boxes and a restaurant. No construction start date has been announced and the 2026/27 season runs as normal, but anyone weighing a multi-season box should ask the club about relocation terms before signing, because the club has not yet said where Peter Taylor Stand guests will sit while the work is done.

How Forest Compares With Brighton, Villa, Everton and Newcastle

On seasonal pricing Forest is cheaper than the four clubs compared here. A Trentside season place at about £189 a game including VAT undercuts most rivals' entry products bought match by match. On single-match pricing the picture is closer, and Forest's entry lounge includes less than some of its equivalents.

The comparison flatters Forest on price and exposes it on inclusions.
