The three grounds sit within five miles of each other, all three are cashless and all three can be reached from the District line. The catch is in the station names: the Stamford Bridge away end is a five-minute walk from Fulham Broadway, while Craven Cottage is more than a mile from that station and served by Putney Bridge, two stops further down the same branch.
Article Summary: Away supporters at Chelsea stand in the lower and upper tiers of the Shed End, at Fulham they use Blocks P5 to P7 of the Putney End through Turnstiles 1 to 17 on Stevenage Road and at Brentford they use the north-east corner of the East Stand through Turnstiles F, G and H. Chelsea open two hours before kick-off, while Fulham and Brentford open 90 minutes before.
- Premier League away tickets are capped at £30 at all three West London grounds, a cap the 20 clubs voted unanimously on 19 March 2026 to extend to the end of 2027/28.
- Visiting allocations differ sharply: Leeds United received 3,083 tickets for Chelsea on 21 November 2026, Newcastle United 2,696 for Fulham on 7 November 2026 and Chelsea 1,725 for Brentford in September 2026.
- Fulham began fitting rail seating in the Craven Cottage visitors' section in autumn 2026, according to the Fulham Supporters' Trust on 24 September 2026, with about 300 seats in the allocation still sold as restricted view because of supporting pillars.
- Brentford's bag limit for 2026/27 is 34cm by 24cm by 11cm; since the Liverpool match on 17 October 2026, storage at the Bees Superstore costs £5 per item or £10 for the largest bags and suitcases.
- Visiting-club guides published this season send away fans at Chelsea to pubs beside Earl's Court station, about a 25-minute walk from Stamford Bridge, because the pubs around the ground cater for home supporters.
This guide covers all three stadiums for visiting supporters in 2026/27, built around the questions fans post before they travel: where you will stand or sit, how you get a ticket, which station to use, what you can carry in and how you get back to your terminal when the queues are at their longest. Dates, prices and rules are given as of early November 2026, taken from the three clubs' own notices and from this season's visiting-club guides. The rest of the season's calendar sits with our Premier League tickets.
West London away matches worth planning around in 2026/27

Saturday 5 December 2026 is the date to circle. Chelsea host Liverpool at 12:30 and Brentford host Manchester City at 20:00, which puts two West London matches on the same day with more than five hours between the final whistle at one and kick-off at the other. Three days earlier, on Wednesday 2 December, Chelsea vs Crystal Palace at 19:30 and Brentford vs Arsenal at 20:15 run on the same night, so two crowds will be using the District line west of Earl's Court at once.
Cup dates are thinner than usual. All three clubs went out of the EFL Cup in the fourth round on 28 October 2026 (Chelsea on penalties to Liverpool, Fulham to Crystal Palace, Brentford to Sunderland) and none of the three is in European competition this season. That leaves Premier League matches plus whatever the FA Cup third-round draw brings in January. The season also ends locally: Chelsea vs Brentford is listed for Sunday 30 May 2027 at 16:00, the final day.

| Fulham vs Arsenal | Wed 30 Dec 2026, 19:30 | Craven Cottage | Festive midweek London derby; check holiday rail timetables |
| Chelsea vs Fulham | Sat 10 Apr 2027, 15:00 (provisional) | Stamford Bridge | The return derby; spring dates move when the television picks are announced |
Kick-off times above follow the November and December television selections, the second of which was announced on 19 October 2026. Anything from February onwards is provisional until the next round of picks, so book flexible or refundable rail tickets for spring matches.
Three grounds inside five miles, one Tube line between them

Stamford Bridge and Craven Cottage are under a mile and a half apart in a straight line, with the Gtech Community Stadium roughly three miles further west beside Kew Bridge. Brentford's ground still appears in searches under its unsponsored name, Brentford Community Stadium, but tickets, signs and club notices all use the Gtech name. The table below sets the three visitors' sections side by side.
| What you need to know | Stamford Bridge (Chelsea) | Craven Cottage (Fulham) | Gtech Community Stadium (Brentford) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Away section | Shed End, lower and upper tiers | Putney End, Blocks P5 to P7 | East Stand, north-east corner: Blocks N120, E116, E117, E216, E217 and E218 |
| Way in | Visiting supporters' entrance from Fulham Road at Stamford Gate | Turnstiles 1 to 17 on Stevenage Road, Bishop's Park side | Turnstiles F, G and H, reached only by the railway bridge from Capital Interchange Way |
| Turnstiles open | Two hours before kick-off | 90 minutes before kick-off | 90 minutes before kick-off |
| Standing or seated | Rail-seated safe standing throughout | Rail seating fitted to the visitors' section from autumn 2026 | Rail seating for safe standing across the visitors' section; every ticket carries an allocated seat |
| Premier League allocation | About 3,000 (Leeds United: 3,083 for 21 Nov 2026) | About 2,700 (Newcastle United: 2,696 for 7 Nov 2026) | 1,725 (Chelsea, Sep 2026) |
| Nearest station | Fulham Broadway, about five minutes | Putney Bridge, 10 to 20 minutes through Bishop's Park | Kew Bridge, though away fans are discouraged from using it after the match |
| Bag limit | 30cm by 20cm by 10cm | A4-sized bags only (29.7cm by 21cm by 21cm) | 34cm by 24cm by 11cm |
| Bag storage | None at the ground | Ormiston Bridge Academy, Greswell Street, £5 | Bees Superstore, £5 or £10 |
| Payment inside | Card and phone only | Card and phone only | Card and phone only |
All three visitors' sections now have rail seating for safe standing, with Fulham's the newest. Smaller away allocations generally make tickets harder to secure: Brentford's 1,725 is little more than half of what Chelsea hand over. Supporters of the three home clubs, or neutrals building a London weekend around one of these matches, are in a different market altogether, starting with Chelsea tickets for the ground with the largest capacity of the three at roughly 40,000.
Standing in the Shed End: the visitors' section at Chelsea

The Chelsea away end is the Shed End, the south stand, with visiting supporters spread across both the lower and upper tiers. Everton's away guide lists the blocks as SL1 to SL4 downstairs and SU1 to SU4B upstairs. Leeds United's ticket notice of 27 October 2026 is blunt about what to expect: "The entire away section is designated a safe standing area." You are given an allocated position in the rail seating, you must use that position and you should expect everyone around you to be on their feet for the whole match.
The way in is from Fulham Road at Stamford Gate. Visiting clubs describe the exact turnstile position in different ways from one notice to the next, so follow the visiting supporters' signs and the stewards on the day. Tottenham's guide for their Saturday evening visit earlier this season put gates opening two hours before kick-off and told supporters to expect "a pre-entry ticket check and an enhanced body and bag search before entry", with a recommendation to arrive no later than 30 minutes before the start.
Most visiting clubs now issue digital tickets for Chelsea. Leeds are sending theirs by email with a warning that each ticket downloads only once and that screenshots will not scan, so add the pass to your phone wallet before you leave home. If a ticket fails at the gate, the main ticket office is in the Shed End, next to the Megastore; take photo ID.
Arriving early pays at this ground. Brentford's guide to their January 2026 visit noted early-bird offers of £4 or less on hot food, alcohol and soft drinks at the concourse kiosks for the first 30 minutes after the turnstiles open. The matchday programme was £4 when Tottenham visited this season. Nothing inside takes cash, so bring a card or phone. For sightlines from each tier, the Stamford Bridge seating plan shows where the Shed End sits against the other three stands, our rundown of best and worst seats at Stamford Bridge covers the views block by block and Stamford Bridge tickets are grouped by match for home and neutral supporters.

The Putney End at Craven Cottage, now with rail seating

The Fulham away end is the Putney End, behind the goal at the southern end of the ground, where visiting supporters take Blocks P5 to P7. Home fans occupy the rest of the stand and share the concourse, so the Craven Cottage away end is not sealed off in the way it is at most Premier League grounds. Older guides still describe a mixed "neutral" area here. That arrangement has ended: the Putney End is now divided between a home section and the visiting section, with Fulham's ground rules stating that away supporters found in home seating will be ejected.
The main change this season is the introduction of safe standing. The Fulham Supporters' Trust reported on 24 September 2026 that safe standing installation "has commenced during this international break" and that "Initially this will be in the away section only". Newcastle United's ticket notice for the match on 7 November 2026 confirms the result: "The Visiting Section is now a safe standing area." Guides written before October, including Crystal Palace's for their visit on 5 September, still carry Fulham's earlier line that persistent standing is not permitted, so treat anything older than this autumn as out of date.
Restricted views are worth checking before your club's ticket sale opens. Newcastle's allocation of 2,696 included about 300 restricted-view seats with "supporting pillars in view", sold at £2 less than the standard price. Where your club lets you choose your own seat, as Newcastle did, check whether it carries the restricted-view designation before you pay.
Entry is through Turnstiles 1 to 17 on Stevenage Road, on the side nearest Bishop's Park, which open 90 minutes before kick-off. Fulham run a 100% search policy in 2026/27 that can include a wand or a pat-down. Bags are checked and tagged, with no readmission once you are inside. The kiosks sit behind the stand under cover but open to the air. Queues build in the final 20 minutes before kick-off. The Craven Cottage seating plan shows the Putney End in relation to the Riverside Stand and the Johnny Haynes Stand, while Craven Cottage tickets list what is available in the home areas.
The East Stand corner at the Gtech Community Stadium

Brentford put visiting supporters in the north-east corner, in Blocks N120, E116 and E117 on the lower level and E216, E217 and E218 above. The Brentford away end holds 1,725, which is 10% of the ground's 17,250 capacity and the smallest standard allocation of the three clubs. Like Chelsea and Fulham, Brentford have rail seating configured for safe standing here. Liverpool's ticket notice for the match on 17 October 2026 states that "Brentford is operating safe standing railing across the visitor's section". Every supporter is allocated a seat, but anyone who prefers to sit should expect the fans around them to stand, because there is no dedicated seated area.
Access is stricter than the map suggests. Brentford's stadium guide says "all visiting supporters must access the ground via the railway bridge from Capital Interchange Way" and that there is no route for away fans between Gates E and F, so do not follow the home crowd up Lionel Road South. Turnstiles F, G and H open 90 minutes before kick-off, with G set aside as the accessible entrance. Searches are thorough, there is no readmission if you leave early and smoking and vaping are banned across the whole site.
Inside, the away concourse has its own kiosks, Griffin Kitchen and the Four Corners Bar. Brentford's early-bird offer for 2026/27 runs for 30 minutes after the turnstiles open, with a selection of alcoholic drinks at £4.50 and soft drinks at £1.75. Water fountains with reusable cups are available too. The Gtech Community Stadium seating plan shows how close the corner blocks are to the pitch, while Gtech Community Stadium tickets cover the home stands for every remaining league match.
Getting an away ticket: allocations, loyalty points and the £30 cap

Tickets for all three visitors' sections are sold by the visiting club to its own season ticket holders and members, almost always in order of loyalty points or by ballot. The Premier League standard is up to 3,000 tickets, or 10% of capacity at grounds that hold fewer than 30,000, which is why Fulham hand over about 2,700 and Brentford 1,725.
Smaller allocations generally mean stricter loyalty-point requirements. Chelsea's own sales this season show the effect: their trip to Fulham on 24 August 2026 (2,701 tickets) opened at 117 loyalty points, while their trip to Brentford in September (1,725 tickets) opened at 149. Our guide to how Chelsea's away points work breaks that system down. There are equivalents for the clubs with the largest travelling support heading west this winter: Arsenal's away credits for Brentford on 2 December and Fulham on 30 December, Liverpool's away ticket ladder for Chelsea on 5 December and Manchester City's away sales for Brentford the same evening.
Adult prices are capped at £30 for Premier League matches. The clubs voted unanimously on 19 March 2026 to keep the cap until the end of 2027/28, with the Premier League reporting that away attendance has risen from 82% to 91% since it was introduced. It is a ceiling, not a flat price. Newcastle's tickets for Fulham were £30 for adults, £29 for seniors and young adults and £25 for juniors; Chelsea's for Brentford were £30 for adults and £10 for under-18s; Leeds charged £31.50 for Chelsea because a £1.50 booking fee sits on top. The Premier League ticket price index puts the cap in the context of what home seats cost across the division.
The cap does not apply in the cups, where the numbers also change. FA Cup rules entitle the visiting club to up to 15% of capacity, subject to safety advice, which would mean roughly 6,000 at Stamford Bridge, about 4,200 at Craven Cottage and close to 2,600 at the Gtech. With all three clubs entering in the third round in January, FA Cup tickets are the one route to a larger away section in West London this season.
Away tickets are tied to the buyer. Crystal Palace warn that anyone who passes a ticket on without the club's consent is banned from future away sales, while Newcastle allow transfers only through their own system between 72 hours and five hours before kick-off. A visiting supporter who misses out therefore has two compliant options. One is the visiting club's own later sales windows and returns. The other is a hospitality package where the home club's rules admit visiting supporters. Home areas are not an alternative: Fulham eject away supporters found in home seating, with segregation enforced at Chelsea and Brentford too.
Home supporters and neutrals are in a different position. Our guides to buying Chelsea tickets without a membership, buying Fulham tickets without a membership and buying Brentford tickets without a membership are written for them. If you buy a home-area seat through us, register with 1BoxOffice first, check the supporter area stated on the ticket before you pay and track your order as the match approaches. Third-party resale tickets are subject to club entry restrictions and may carry a risk of cancellation or refused admission, so read the home club's ticket conditions before you buy.
District line, South Western Railway and the station that is not Fulham's

The District line splits at Earl's Court, which is what makes that station the hinge of any West London away day. The Wimbledon branch runs to Fulham Broadway for Chelsea and then, two stops later, to Putney Bridge for Fulham. The Richmond branch runs to Gunnersbury for Brentford. Fulham Broadway is the mistake to avoid: it is Chelsea's station, more than a mile from Craven Cottage.
| Station | Lines | Ground | Walk | What to know |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fulham Broadway | District (Wimbledon branch) | Stamford Bridge | About 5 minutes | Step-free from street to platform by lift; very crowded after the final whistle |
| West Brompton | District, Mildmay line (Overground) | Stamford Bridge | 15 minutes | The calmer exit after the match |
| Imperial Wharf | Mildmay line (Overground) | Stamford Bridge | 15 minutes | Lift to the platform; useful for Clapham Junction connections |
| Earl's Court | District, Piccadilly | Stamford Bridge | About 25 minutes | Where the away pubs are; direct Piccadilly line trains to King's Cross and Heathrow |
| Putney Bridge | District (Wimbledon branch) | Craven Cottage | 10 to 20 minutes | Zone 2; the walk runs through Bishop's Park beside the river; not step-free |
| Hammersmith | District, Piccadilly, Circle, Hammersmith & City | Craven Cottage | 20 to 40 minutes | The fallback when Putney Bridge is shut; bus 220 runs along Fulham Palace Road |
| Putney | South Western Railway from Waterloo and Clapham Junction | Craven Cottage | 25 to 30 minutes | Turn right out of the station, cross Putney Bridge, take the steps on the left into Bishop's Park |
| Kew Bridge | South Western Railway from Waterloo | Gtech Community Stadium | Nearest station | Not step-free; a train every 15 minutes on matchday Saturdays; away fans discouraged afterwards |
| Gunnersbury | District (Richmond branch), Mildmay line (Overground) | Gtech Community Stadium | Within 20 minutes | Small platform, so expect a long wait at busy times |
| Brentford | South Western Railway | Gtech Community Stadium | About 1 mile | The nearest step-free station to the ground |
Brentford say eight stations lie within a 20-minute walk of the Gtech, and the club's station list also names Kew Gardens, Chiswick Park and Acton Town. South Ealing is further out, about 1.5 miles from the ground according to the club. Acton Town and South Ealing are both on the Piccadilly line, a detail that matters for anyone arriving from Heathrow or King's Cross.
From the main London terminals, the routes are simpler than the Tube map makes them look:
- Waterloo: South Western Railway runs direct to Putney for Craven Cottage and to Kew Bridge for Brentford; for Chelsea, take the Jubilee line one stop to Westminster and change to the District line.
- Victoria: District line trains run direct to all three, with Wimbledon trains serving Fulham Broadway and Putney Bridge and Richmond trains serving Gunnersbury.
- Paddington: the Edgware Road to Wimbledon service on the District line runs direct to Fulham Broadway and Putney Bridge.
- King's Cross St Pancras: the Piccadilly line runs direct to Earl's Court for a District line change, and on towards Acton Town and South Ealing for Brentford.
- Euston and Liverpool Street: take the Victoria line from Euston to Victoria, or the Elizabeth line from Liverpool Street to Paddington, then pick up the District line.
Adult pay as you go fares from central London are £3.60 at peak times or £3.10 off-peak to Fulham Broadway and Putney Bridge in Zone 2, and £3.90 or £3.30 to Gunnersbury in Zone 3, as of 1 March 2026. Contactless bank cards and phones are charged the same as Oyster.
The weak point is weekend engineering work. On Saturday 5 September 2026 there was no District line service between Edgware Road and Wimbledon, which closed Putney Bridge for Fulham vs Crystal Palace and sent supporters to Hammersmith instead. Tottenham's guide to their visit to Chelsea this season dealt with a District line closure on the Wimbledon and Richmond branches, advising the Piccadilly line to Earl's Court followed by a replacement bus or a 25-minute walk. Check Transport for London's status updates the night before and again on the morning of the match.
Bag limits and bag drops, ground by ground

This is where the three clubs differ most. It is also where the rules changed most recently. Brentford introduced both a new size limit and storage charges this season, Chelsea have no storage at the ground at all and Fulham's bag drop is a short walk away from the turnstiles in a school.
| Rule | Stamford Bridge | Craven Cottage | Gtech Community Stadium |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maximum bag size | 30cm by 20cm by 10cm, about a standard handbag | A4-sized bags only (29.7cm by 21cm by 21cm) | 34cm by 24cm by 11cm, suitcases included; bags cannot be folded to fit |
| Storage | None at the stadium; an independent matchday bag drop operates at Fulham Broadway Shopping Centre | Ormiston Bridge Academy on Greswell Street | Bees Superstore, next to the A4 and M4; the Hive store beside Kew Bridge station does not store bags |
| Storage price | £10 per item, as quoted in Tottenham's guide earlier this season | £5 by card only; prams, buggies and mobility aids are free | £5 per item for most bags, £10 for the largest bags and suitcases since 17 October 2026; free for cyclists who show a helmet |
| Storage hours | Set by the operator | Fulham's published hours run from three hours before kick-off until two hours after the match; visiting-club notices sometimes give different times, including a one-hour collection window after evening kick-offs, so check the notice for your match | From two hours before kick-off unless the match notice says otherwise; collect by the time on your ticket or the bag stays locked until the next day |
| Search | Ticket check before the turnstile, then an enhanced body and bag search | 100% search policy; bags checked and tagged | Thorough search of every bag |
| Exemptions | Medical exemption certificate, applied for through Chelsea in advance | Tell a steward before the search if you need an adjustment | Medical, accessibility and childcare exemptions by email in advance |
Brentford add that the club "strongly recommends that fans do not bring bags", which is the sensible approach at all three. If you are travelling with a suitcase, leave it at your hotel or in left luggage at your London terminal instead of carrying it across the city.
Where away fans drink before kick-off

At Chelsea, away supporters are generally directed towards pubs near Earl's Court. Visiting-club guides for Stamford Bridge name the same three pubs every time, The Earls Court Tavern, The Courtfield and The Prince of Teck, all beside Earl's Court station and about 25 minutes from the stadium on foot. Football Ground Guide's pub roundup, updated on 26 August 2026, adds The Blackbird on Earls Court Road and notes that door staff at pubs closer to the ground can ask for a valid match ticket or a Chelsea membership card, typically for matches against major rivals.
Fulham is friendlier and closer. The Eight Bells at 89 Fulham High Street, beside Putney Bridge station, is the traditional away pub, with The King's Arms on New King's Road and The Temperance named alongside it in visiting clubs' guides. The Eight Bells is small and fills early. Reports on The Crabtree, on the Hammersmith side, conflict from one season to the next, so do not build a derby-day plan around it. Supporters arriving through Putney station have The Rocket at Putney Wharf on the south bank before they cross the bridge.
Brentford is the easiest of the three. The club's own away fans guide lists pubs near the stadium that welcome both sets of supporters: The Express Tavern, One Over the Ait, The Bell & Crown, The Steam Packet and The City Barge, all around Kew Bridge and the riverside. Across the river on Kew Green, The Greyhound, The Coach & Horses and The Botanist typically admit away fans. The Pilot and The Gunnersbury sit on the walk from Gunnersbury station. Door policies at any pub can change for a derby or a high-risk match, so have a second option in mind.
Getting home when the District line is at its busiest

Each ground has one obvious station and a better alternative. At Chelsea the obvious one is Fulham Broadway, which fills within minutes of the final whistle. Walking 15 minutes to West Brompton or Imperial Wharf is usually quicker than queueing, as is the 25-minute walk back to Earl's Court. Fulham Road can take about an hour to reopen to traffic.
At Fulham, most of the away end walks back through Bishop's Park to Putney Bridge. The alternative is to carry on over the bridge to Putney station, where South Western Railway trains reach Waterloo in around a quarter of an hour. If you used the bag drop on Greswell Street, collect promptly: Fulham's published closing time is two hours after the match, though some visiting-club notices give one hour after evening kick-offs.
Brentford is the one with a specific instruction. The club discourages away fans from using Kew Bridge after the match. Anyone who does must walk round from Capital Interchange Way and up Lionel Road South to join the home supporters' queue. Gunnersbury's small platform means a long wait at busy times. The practical alternatives are Brentford station for South Western Railway, about a mile away, and Acton Town or South Ealing, a longer walk of up to 1.5 miles, for the Piccadilly line towards King's Cross and Heathrow.
Evening kick-offs need a last-train check before you buy anything. A 20:00 start finishes at around 22:00 and a 20:15 start a quarter of an hour later, which leaves little margin for long-distance departures from Euston, King's Cross or Paddington once the walk and the Tube are added.
Driving, coaches and taxis

None of the three clubs wants visiting supporters to drive. Stamford Bridge has no supporter car park and Fulham Road closes on matchdays; this season's club notices give closure times of between one and a half and two and a half hours before kick-off, with about an hour to reopen afterwards. Supporters' coaches use the Imperial Road coach park, where Chelsea accept no more than 20 away coaches, bookings close at 12 noon three days before the match and drivers must stay with their vehicles. There is a bike shed at Stamford Gate. The river bus pier at Chelsea Harbour is a 15-minute walk away.
Around Craven Cottage a Traffic Management Order restricts the residential streets, pay and display bays have a one-hour maximum stay between 9am and 9.30pm and the little parking that exists is mainly for Blue Badge holders. Bus 85 runs from Kingston to Putney Bridge, while the 220 links Hammersmith with Fulham Palace Road.
Brentford is the only one of the three with general matchday parking that can be booked: the club's parking partner, Event Support Team, runs off-site car parks that must be booked in advance through brentfordfcparking.co.uk, while the surrounding streets are in Controlled Parking Zones. Club-run away coaches park on Capital Interchange Way, TW8 0EX, next to the away turnstiles. Buses 110, 237, 267 and N9 stop at the stadium. Cyclists can store bags and helmets free of charge. All three grounds are inside London's Ultra Low Emission Zone, which costs £12.50 a day for vehicles that do not meet the standard.
Accessibility for disabled away supporters

Chelsea provide 30 wheelchair spaces for visiting supporters, plus ambulant seating, according to Leeds United's notice of 27 October 2026, with a personal assistant ticket free where one is needed. Chelsea's access guide for visiting supporters places the wheelchair platforms in the Shed End lower tier, reached by a railed ramp at the entrance known as Dickie's Deck. The two accessible toilets there need a RADAR key that stewards can supply. Fulham Broadway is step-free from the street to the platforms, with a steward-controlled drop-off point at Stamford Gate. Chelsea also have a small number of accessible parking bays that must be booked in advance.
At Craven Cottage, go to Gate 1, immediately to the left of the red-brick turnstile block on Stevenage Road, where access stewards in green jackets will bring you in. Newcastle United's guide to Craven Cottage lists 17 wheelchair spaces and 10 easy-access seats for visiting supporters in the Putney End; your club's ticket notice will confirm the block. Fulham ask supporters who need an adjustment to the search to tell a steward beforehand. Putney Bridge station is not step-free, with Hammersmith and Fulham Broadway named in the same guide as the nearest Tube stations with step-free access. Accessible parking is extremely limited, so contact Fulham before you travel.
Brentford provide 14 wheelchair bays with personal assistant places for visiting supporters, as confirmed in Liverpool's notice for October 2026, with Turnstile G as the accessible entrance. A passenger lift runs from Thomas Layton Way to the turnstiles, a second lift serves the raised accessible seating and the away end has three accessible toilets, one on the lower concourse and two on the upper. Blue Badge spaces near the away entrance on Capital Interchange Way are booked by email and allocated in order of request. A second Blue Badge car park at Our Lady & St John's RC Primary School, booked through the same Event Support Team website, has a shuttle every 30 minutes until kick-off that carries foldable wheelchairs only. Kew Bridge is not step-free, so use Brentford station.
Where to stay and what the day costs

Earl's Court is the logical base for anyone staying overnight. It is on the Piccadilly line from Heathrow and King's Cross, both District line branches leave from its platforms and Chelsea's away pubs are on the doorstep. Hammersmith is the alternative for Fulham, since Craven Cottage is within walking distance and the same two Tube lines pass through. For Brentford alone, Kew and Chiswick put you within a short walk of the ground.
A sample matchday budget shows how quickly costs add up. A capped £30 ticket, two off-peak Tube rides at £3.10 each and two early-bird items at Brentford's £4.50 price come to £45.20 before your rail fare into London, on November 2026 prices. A bag drop adds £5 to £10 and driving a non-compliant car adds £12.50.
Supporters without access to an away allocation sometimes look at hospitality. Each home club sets its own rules on who may sit in its lounges and what may be worn there, so read the conditions before you book; our Chelsea hospitality guide, Fulham hospitality guide and Brentford hospitality guide cover the packages at each ground. For home supporters and neutrals, Fulham tickets cover every remaining league match at Craven Cottage.
Flying in from the Gulf for a West London match

Entry rules depend on your passport, not where you live. Nationals of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman need a UK Electronic Travel Authorisation before boarding, applied for through the UK ETA app, while residents of those countries holding other passports may need a visa; British and Irish citizens and holders of a valid UK visa do not need an ETA at all. Our UK visa guide for Gulf football fans walks through the application.
West London is on the Heathrow side of the capital. The Piccadilly line from the airport passes South Ealing and Acton Town, both on Brentford's list of stations for the Gtech, before reaching Earl's Court for the District line to Chelsea and Fulham. Kick-off times convert easily: a 12:30 start is 16:30 in the UAE and Oman and 15:30 in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain, while a 20:00 start is 00:00 the following day in the UAE and Oman and 23:00 in the other four countries. Those gaps narrow by an hour when the UK clocks go forward on 28 March 2027.
Two practical points catch out visitors from abroad. All three grounds are cashless, so check that your contactless card or phone wallet works in the UK before you travel. Chelsea's access guide also lists a prayer room at the hotel on the Stamford Bridge site; ask a steward for directions on the day.
Whether a Gulf-based supporter can buy into an away allocation depends on the visiting club's own sales criteria. Most allocations sell out to members with points before any wider window opens. A Gulf-based neutral, or a supporter of one of the three home clubs, can buy a home-area seat in advance, subject to the home club's entry conditions, with Brentford tickets the scarcest of the three because of the size of the ground. Our Gulf fan guide to a London football weekend covers the rest of the trip. The sister guides for north London and Manchester follow the same format if you are combining matches.

Frequently asked questions about away days in West London
1. Can children go in the away end at Stamford Bridge, Craven Cottage and the Gtech Community Stadium?
-
Chelsea require under-16s to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, while Fulham and Brentford apply the same rule to under-14s, according to the clubs' and visiting clubs' notices for 2026/27.
2. Which is the easiest West London ground for away fans?
-
Brentford is the easiest for pubs because most near the ground welcome both sets of supporters, while Chelsea offers the largest allocation with the shortest walk from a Tube station and Fulham the riverside approach through Bishop's Park.
3. Do away fans need photo ID at West London grounds?
-
Carry photo ID, because Newcastle United continue to run identity spot checks on away tickets in 2026/27, Leeds United ask for it when a digital ticket needs help at the gate and Fulham's turnstile staff can ask concession holders for proof of age.
4. Can away fans take flags and banners into Stamford Bridge, Craven Cottage and the Gtech?
-
Chelsea allow flags and banners up to 250cm wide by 80cm deep with a fire safety certificate and no poles, Fulham allow smaller flags up to 150cm in depth or width without poles and Brentford allow flags and banners up to 2m by 1m, so contact the host club before bringing a larger display.
5. Is alcohol sold in the away end at Chelsea, Fulham and Brentford?
-
Alcohol is sold on the away concourse at all three grounds, although Brentford state that sales can be withdrawn for high-risk matches.
Whether you are travelling on your club's loyalty points for a Saturday in the Shed End or looking for a home-area seat at Craven Cottage or the Gtech as a neutral, 1BoxOffice lists resale tickets for all three West London grounds. Third-party resale tickets are subject to club entry restrictions and may carry a risk of cancellation or refused admission. The 1BoxOffice 150% money-back guarantee applies to qualifying non-delivery cases under its published terms: a full refund if your tickets are not received and no alternative is offered, plus a goodwill credit voucher of up to 50% of the order value (excluding fees and taxes, capped at £125) that 1BoxOffice may issue at its discretion. It does not override a venue's admission conditions, so check the supporter area stated on each ticket before you buy.
